Treatment is based on your symptoms, medical history, examination, and the healthcare provider’s clinical judgment. Some conditions may require referral for outside testing, imaging, or a higher level of care.

EZ Care Clinic provides medical care for minor, non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. To help you choose the appropriate place for care, please be aware of the following:

  • X-ray services are not available onsite.
  • Laboratory testing is not performed onsite.
  • Extended evening and overnight hours are not available.
  • Higher-level emergencies are not treated at EZ Care Clinic.
  • Some conditions may require referral to an outside laboratory, imaging center, urgent care center, or hospital.

When to Call 911 or Go to the Emergency Room

Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department for any life-threatening or potentially serious condition, including:

  • Chest pain or severe chest pressure
  • Severe difficulty breathing
  • Signs of a stroke
  • Loss of consciousness or seizure
  • Severe bleeding or major trauma
  • Suspected serious fracture
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Severe allergic reaction
  • Suicidal thoughts or an immediate mental-health crisis.
  • Do not delay emergency treatment while waiting for a clinic appointment.

No insurance? You can still receive care. EZ Care Clinic welcomes insured and uninsured patients and offers transparent self-pay options. Our goal is to help make medical care more accessible for the Frederick community.

Outside laboratory testing, imaging, medications, and services provided by other facilities are billed separately by those facilities.
